About the work

Sindhi uses a larger alphabet than Urdu, with letters that differ only by dot placement. Older texts predate today's standard, so readers who know both are essential to build fair test data.

What you will do

Transcribe Sindhi manuscripts and early printed books exactly as written
Record older letter forms and spellings, and note where they differ from today
Flag unreadable words instead of guessing
Help write conventions for Sindhi-specific letters and dots

What we are looking for

Native Sindhi with confident reading of older texts
Accurate typing in Sindhi script
Familiarity with the extra letters and dot patterns of Sindhi
A laptop or desktop and a stable internet connection

Nice to have

Knowledge of classical Sindhi poetry such as Shah Abdul Latif's Risalo
Library or archive experience in Sindh
