What you will do

• Identify significant holdings in library and archive catalogues
• Check and improve bibliographic records for items we digitise
• Advise on transliteration of names and titles in catalogues
• Review AI answers on bibliography and library research

What we are looking for

• Professional experience with Oriental, Asian or Middle Eastern collections
• Reading knowledge of at least two of Urdu, Persian and Arabic
• Familiarity with library catalogues and union catalogues
• Clear written English

Nice to have

• A library science degree
• Knowledge of Library of Congress romanisation tables
