What you will do

• Transcribe scanned Persian (Farsi) pages, written in Nastaliq and Naskh (Perso-Arabic), exactly as they appear, keeping every diacritic and punctuation mark
• Type blind from the image: no OCR, AI tools or copied text
• Flag words you cannot read instead of guessing, using our simple marking system
• Hit an agreed page count each week at a consistent quality bar

What we are looking for

• Native or near-native reading of Persian (Farsi), including older or handwritten forms
• Fast, accurate typing in Persian (Farsi) script on a computer
• Patience with dense, faded or unusual layouts
• A laptop or desktop and a stable internet connection

Nice to have

• Experience with manuscripts, calligraphy or old print
• Proofreading or publishing background
