What you will do

• Compare two or more Persian (Farsi) transcriptions with the scan and decide what the page actually says
• Correct diacritics, spacing, joining and punctuation at character level
• Record every decision so buyers can audit how the ground truth was set
• Coach transcriptionists with specific, written feedback

What we are looking for

• Expert reading of Persian (Farsi), including classical vocabulary and older spelling
• Proven proofreading, editing or teaching experience
• Meticulous attention to detail and clear written English

Nice to have

• Degree in languages, literature or linguistics
• Experience reading manuscripts
