About the work
Models write SQL confidently, including queries that delete data or lock tables. DBAs catch those mistakes before they reach production.
What you will do
- Review model-written queries, schemas and migration scripts
- Write database tasks with test data and expected results
- Flag destructive or slow queries
- Rate answers on recovery and security practice
What we are looking for
- Professional DBA experience with PostgreSQL, MySQL, SQL Server or Oracle
- Strong SQL and performance tuning
- Professional written English
- Experience with backup and recovery
Nice to have
- Cloud database or data warehouse experience
- Vendor certification
