Privacy notice

This notice explains what Vettedlance collects through vettedlance.com, why, and what you can ask us to do with it. If anything is unclear, email hello@vettedlance.com.

What we collect

• Expert applications: your name, email, phone (optional), city, field, credentials, languages, profile link and anything you choose to tell us.
• Partnership requests: your name, work email, company, role, what you need and your timeline.
• Investor enquiries: your name, email, phone (optional), city, indicative amount and message.
• Basic technical data: a one-way hash of your IP address, used only to limit spam submissions. We do not store raw IP addresses from our forms.

How we use it

To review applications, contact you, match experts to projects, respond to partnership and investor enquiries, and keep our forms free of abuse. We do not sell your information, and we do not use it for advertising.

Verification checks

If you apply as an expert and we invite you to continue, we will ask for your explicit consent before verifying your identity or credentials with any issuing body. Nothing is checked without that consent.

Who can see it

Only the Vettedlance team. Our website is hosted by Hostinger, which stores submissions on our behalf. We share an expert's details with a client only with that expert's permission, for a specific project.

How long we keep it

We keep applications and enquiries for up to 24 months after our last contact with you, unless you work with us, in which case we keep what our contracts and the law require.

Your choices

You can ask us to show you what we hold about you, correct it, or delete it. Email hello@vettedlance.com and we will respond within 30 days.

Changes

If we change this notice, we will update the date at the top of this page.
